Our story
Built by gamers, for the long sessions
Nova Spin Kingdom started as a three-station setup above a Southbank cafe and grew into one of Melbourne’s busiest gaming destinations.
We sit a two-minute walk from the Clarendon Street tram stop, between Crown Riverside and the South Melbourne Market end of town. Everything here is tuned for comfort and performance — 240Hz monitors, ergonomic racing seats, low-latency fibre, and staff who actually play. Whether you are grinding ranked, hosting a birthday squad, or trying VR for the first time, there is a seat with your name on it.

2016
Opened a tiny five-seat lounge above a Clarendon Street cafe with borrowed consoles and a hand-painted sign.

Everything about booking, pricing and bringing a group to the kingdom.
Booking & hours
Walk-ins are always welcome, but Friday and Saturday evenings fill fast. We recommend booking a bay online or by phone for any session after 5pm, and booking is required for VR pods and the arena.
We are open every day from 10:00am to 11:00pm, including public holidays. The kitchen and snack bar stop taking orders 30 minutes before close.
Yes — cancellations and changes are free up to four hours before your slot. Within four hours we hold a 50% fee, which we are happy to convert into store credit for a future session.
Pricing & groups
Console and PC bays are discounted before 4pm on weekdays, and students with a valid ID get 15% off at any time. Off-peak rates are shown automatically when you book online.
The full arena seats 16, and we can comfortably host parties of up to 30 across the arena, console bays and VR pods. For anything larger, get in touch and we will plan a buy-out of the venue.
Absolutely. Our Birthday Squad package is A$45 per guest for three hours and includes mixed play, a private booth, pizza from a South Melbourne local and a tournament finale with a trophy.
Equipment & access
Please do. Our PCs have Steam, Epic and Riot pre-installed so you can sign in and your saves and settings come with you. Personal controllers are welcome on all console bays.
Yes. We are at street level on Clarendon Street with step-free entry, an accessible bathroom, and console bays designed to fit a wheelchair. Let us know your needs when booking and we will set up the right station.
Under-15s are welcome with a guardian until 6pm, after which we run age-rated sessions. Our coaching academy is open to players aged 10 and up with parental consent.
